Christopher Clements is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and partner at Deloitte. He has specialised in Forensic Accountancy since 1996 and has a breadth of experience in international arbitration, disputes, investigation, expert witness, ADR and advisory work working across EMEA. He also leads Deloitte’s International Arbitration practice in the Middle East.
He is an experienced Forensic Accountant expert witness has working knowledge of the legal process in International Arbitration matters (IBA, ICC, LCIA) and Civil Disputes (CPR). He is an individual member of the Expert Witness Institute, the Academy of Experts and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a qualified mediator.
As a Forensic Accountant Chris is experienced in advisory, claimant, defense, disputes, international arbitration and investigation work involving claims of over STGĀ£3bn. He has given evidence over 35 times in Courts, Arbitrations (including ad hoc and International Arbitrations) and Tribunals. He has worked as a Forensic Accountant on assignments across the globe including in Canada, Cayman Islands, Egypt, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Peru, Qatar, Rumania, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UAE, and the USA.
He has worked as a forensic accountant on litigation dispute and International Arbitration cases as single joint forensic accountancy dispute expert, as an expert forensic accountant appointed by a single party; as an advisor/consulting expert forensic accountant, mediator and as expert determiner and arbitrator (including expert forensic accountant appointments by the president of the ICAEW).
