Ali Al Aidarous is the Founder and Managing Attorney of “Al Aidarous Advocates & Legal Consultants”, a corporate law firm specializing in complex corporate litigation and arbitration as well as offering consultancy in corporate, commercial, construction, banking, insurance and maritime matters.
Prior to setting up the firm in 1997, Mr. Al Aidarous was the managing partner of a leading corporate national firm and in-house counsel for United Arab Bank, which was affiliated to Société Générale, France.
Mr. Al Aidarous has over 35 years’ experience in commercial and corporate matters having right of audience before the UAE, DIFC Courts and ADGM Courts. He is an international arbitrator accredited before regional and international arbitration centres like DIAC, ADCCAC, DIFC-LCIA and AGCC Arbitration and ICC Paris. He also acts as a counsel in arbitration matters and regularly provides expert opinions on UAE law issues before international arbitration and foreign courts.
Mr. Al Aidarous is a member of arbitrateAD Court, the Dubai Financial Markets Tribunal and ADGM Arbitration Centre panel of arbitrators. He has also served as the UAE representative at ICC Court, Chairman of ICC-UAE Commission on Arbitration & ADR. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
